The goal of Ministry Club is to create an avenue for students of all majors to become actively involved in ministry and to develop friendships with other students who have the same passion for serving others. Ministry Club activities include weekly prayer meetings, a weekly outreach serving food at the homeless shelter, soup suppers at faculty homes, camping trips with spiritual emphasis, various social events, and more. Ministry Club is the club that focuses not only on what you can get, but especially on what you can give.
Some of our club activities include picnics, Saturday evenings of food and games at faculty members' homes, and a Senior Recognition Sabbath. We also sponsor Friday night soup suppers and a weekend of spiritual emphasis. We are involved with Campus Ministries, especially Sabbath afternoon activities, and with churches in evangelism events.
You can become a member by signing up at the Ministry Club table at fall registration or by talking to a faculty member in the religion division at any time. There is an initial $35.00 fee, which can be put on your bill. This fee covers your Ministry Club costs throughout the entire school year.
