Merit scholarships (Now 100% renewable!)
Union’s merit scholarships for freshmen are 100% renewable for three additional years. Students must maintain a college GPA of 2.25 or above, be enrolled at Union College for at least 12 credit hours and meet FAFSA deadlines for full scholarship or grant.
These scholarships are awarded based on high school grade point average and ACT test scores, but there is something for everybody.

*International students must fullfil GPA and testing criteria to be eligible. Board of Trustees and Presidental Scholarships require a college 3.5 GPA to renew every year, otherwise the scholarship will be reduced to the Academic Excellence Scholarship.
**Students qualify for one scholarship or one grant.
Merit awards for transfer students
A transfer student is a new student with at least 24 hours of attempted class credit. Scholarships are awarded based on college GPA and renewed based on class standing. To keep the scholarship, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or above and is enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at Union College.

Summer ministries matching scholarships
Union College offers matching scholarships to students who work at any Seventh-day Adventist summer camp or literature evangelism programs in North America. Scholarship recipients must submit a summer earnings statement to the Student Financial Services office to validate eligibility.
Summer camp: Union will match 100% of summer camp earnings applied to the student's account up $1,500.
Literature evangelism: Union will match 100% of earnings applied to a student's account up to $1,500.
Student missions and task force scholarships
To show our support for students who choose to take a year out of their education to volunteer around the world or within North America, Union offers a $2,000 scholarship upon your return to Union College.
To qualify, you must volunteer through one of the programs affiliated with Union College.
Union College provides an amazing program of half-tuition rates to graduates from accredited colleges or universities who wish to obtain a second degree or take additional undergraduate classes. (Learn more.)
