English for Academic Purposes (EAP)

Welcome to the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.

We are committed to helping you learn English.  We welcome students from around the world with intermediate to advanced English skills. Our program prepares students for college/university academic work.  Some of our students already have university degrees, and they come tour EAP program in order to improve their English so they can pursue higher academic goals.   

The program immerses students in the culture and life of America and provides opportunities to build skills in speaking, listening, reading, grammar and writing.  Students in the EAP program may choose a course of study leading to an Associate in Science degree with an emphasis in English as a Second Language.  An enriching cultural, social, spiritual, and academic experience can be received.  Whatever your situation, we welcome you to explore our program, meet the teachers, and if you are interested, contact us for further information.  Again, we welcome you to the EAP program at Union College!
