Biography of Kelly Boyd

I teach Junior Seminar.  I am also a clinical instructor for Fundamentals, OB, and Community Health.

I graduated from College View Academy in 1998.  I attended Union College to receive my BSN in 2002.  I am currently working on my masters at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

I help teach Kindergarten I at College View Church.  I have also helped for the past two years in the preschool program for Vacation Bible School.

As a nurse, I have worked as a Orthopedic nurse for a year at BryanLGH Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.  The last seven years I have been a Labor and Delivery nurse at BryanLGH Medical.  I started working at Union College in January, 2010, as a clinical instructor. 

I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids.  I love playing volleyball and water skiing.  I like traveling to see my brother and his family in California.  The best part about living in Lincoln is that both sides of our family live here and I get to spend time with them.  And I also get to watch my four nephews play their sports. 

My husband Matt and I have been married for over eight years.  He has owned a business here in Lincoln for the last five years.

I have two children, Hayden and Reese.  Hayden is seven years-old and enjoys playing sports.  Reese is five years-old and enjoys jumping on the trampoline.  They both enjoy playing with their two dogs and going to watch grandpa's basketball team.  I feel very blessed to have the family that I do.
