Biography of Teresa Edgerton

Teresa helps students with major selection, career planning, resume critique as well as other things related to what students will do when they "grow up."  She is very excited to help students know themselves and find the best fit for them in college as well as in the workplace.

Various tests such as online course tests, CLEP, and a few graduate school tests for college students as well as ACT & SAT for high school students are administered by Teresa at the Career Center. 

Teresa attended, loved, and graduated from Union College in 2001 with a BS in Business Administration, Emphasis: Management.

After grauduating from Union, Teresa moved with her husband to St. Louis, MO where she obtained the Office Manager position at a small insurance repair construction company.  From there, she moved to the healthcare industry where she was a Staff Accountant at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the largest hospital in St. Louis.  In November 2004, Teresa moved back to Lincoln where she worked on special projects for the small residential construction company where she did her internship in college.  After a little over a year, she was promoted to Controller where she stayed until resigning to stay at home with her new baby in 2007. 

Teresa Edgerton was Teresa Smith before she married Thaddeus Edgerton ('01) the summer after they graduated from Union.  They have two fun little boys.  Teresa really enjoys photography, music, shopping, being outside and doing almost anything while hanging out with her family.

Teresa's husband, Thaddeus is a Financial Analyst at General Dynamics as well as an MBA student at UNL.  He likes water sports, building things and spending time with his wife and kids.
