Professional Background:

I have enjoyed working in many areas of professional nursing practice previous to the start of my teaching career.  Prior to teaching at Union College, I taught for 5 years at San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico.

Personal Information:

My interests outside of nursing and education center around spending time with family.  I enjoy entertaining, decorating, gardening, and enjoying activities with my family.

My husband and I have are blessed with 2 wonderful children!

I am married to Mike Stimson, a Union College nursing alum and current Operating Room Director for Lincoln Surgical Hospital.
