ADVENT CAPELLE PERFORMS AT UNION COLLEGE

LINCOLN--On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Advent Capelle will be performing at chapel on the Union College campus. The Filipino musical group will begin the concert in the College View Church located on the corners of 48^th and Prescott at 10:30 a.m.

Advent Capelle began performing in 1987. Today, they are using their musical talent to serve the Lord while fundraising for the Davao Sanatarium and Hospital in the Philippines. Once adequate funds have been raised, the hospital plans to build an outpatient department to provide quality medical services for locals.

The “Colors of Music” concert combines music and choreography into a depiction of Philippine history, including its colorful ethnic roots, spirited folk accounts, the influences of Western culture, and the power of faith.
