DALLAS BRASS PERFORMS AT UNION COLLEGE

                                                                       

            On Sunday, Nov. 23, Union College will host a concert by critically acclaimed musical ensemble, Dallas Brass. The concert will take place in the Union College gymnasium located on the corners of 49th and Prescott at 7 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

            Dallas Brass has become one of America’s foremost musical ensembles since its founding in 1983. The group has established a unique blend of traditional brass instruments with a full complement of drums and percussion. Their repertoire includes classical masterpieces, Dixieland, swing, Broadway, Hollywood and patriotic music. 

            The Dallas Brass has dedicated themselves to working with young musicians, presenting clinics and workshops for students of all ages. Prior to their performance at Union College, Dallas Brass will be working with the Union College Concert Winds produce a rousing finale.

            Tickets may be purchased in advance at Student Services (Everett Dick Building, room 104) for the price of $7 for general admission, $3 for students, $15 for families, or by calling 486-2997 to charge by phone.
