American Heart Walk                        

Alternate Day Event                                                               

 

                                                                                                           

WHO:             Anyone interested in having a happy, healthy heart.

 

WHAT:           For the fourth year, Union College, in partnership with the American Heart Association, is hosting LincolnÕs Alternate Day American Heart Walk. The one-mile walk around campus will help combat AmericanÕs No. 1 killersÑheart disease and stroke. Light refreshments provided after the walk.

 

WHEN:           Noon, Wed., May 12ÑRain or shine

 

WHERE:         Union College, center of campus under clock tower

                        3800 South 48th St., Lincoln

 

WHY:              Promote healthy, happy hearts for southeast Lincoln and those who cannot make it to the Saturday event at Haymarket Park on May 15. Donations to the American Heart Association are welcome, but not required.
