LINCOLN—Andrew Peterson, Christian singer/songwriter will perform at the College View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 49^th and Prescott Avenue on Sept. 19^th. In 2004 Peterson was nominated for a Dove Award in the category of Country Recorded Song for his song “Family Man.” Peterson has three albums of folk-influenced acoustic music mixed with thought-provoking lyrics. He will soon release a Christmas album.
       “Sharing my music with people, the writing of it, and translating what God is teaching me to the people who are listening, that’s when I feel the most at home,” Peterson says.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. General admission is $15, non-Union students with ID is $10, groups of ten or more are $12 and children 12 and under are free.
        This is Peterson’s second appearance at Union College; the first was in the autumn of 2002.
