Tsunami benefit concert at Union College

LINCOLN—Union College is teaming up with College View Academy and College View Seventh-day Adventist Church to hold a benefit concert to help the victims of the Dec. 26 tsunami. On Saturday, Jan. 29 at 4:30 p.m., vocal and instrumental performances will include the College View Academy choir, a Samoan choir and Union music professor Dr. Rudyard Dennis. A freewill offering will be taken and a bake sale will follow the concert in the church’s fellowship hall. All proceeds will be directed to Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), an organization that is involved in the relief effort in the disaster zones.
        The event will be held at College View Seventh-day Adventist Church at the corner of 48th and Prescott streets.
