LINCOLN—Ron Dodds, head coach of men’s basketball at Union College, won his 200th game on Thursday, Nov. 17, against Barclay College in Haviland, Kan.
The women’s basketball team, also playing at Barclay, helped the men’s team celebrate. “The girls were jumping up and down and holding signs that said ‘200 Wins,’” said Marsha Bartulec, assistant coach of women’s basketball. “We congratulated the coach, gave him a plaque and put signs all over his van.”
Dodds has been head coach of men’s basketball at Union since 1989. He also serves as assistant dean of men and Campus Security director.
