Union College partners with TeamMates to celebrate mentoring in Lincoln

LINCOLN— On Sunday, Jan. 8, Union hosted a luncheon for TeamMates, a school-based mentoring program founded by Congressman Tom Osborne and his wife, Nancy. More than 90 TeamMates guests attended including mentors, the education faculty from Union and Dr. and Mrs. Osborne. The event included a catered meal by Union Market staff and a presentation by Dr. Susan Weinberger.
        Weinberger is an international consultant on mentoring and the founder and president of the Mentor Consulting Group based in Norwalk, Conn. Her work has been widely published, and her mentoring program has been replicated in 48 states, Bermuda and Canada.

Dr. Susan Weinberger
