A visual tour of Tuscany on exhibit at Union College

LINCOLN—In May, 19 Union College students set off for a 10-day study tour of Tuscany. The trip, which followed a semester-long class on the history and literature of the region of Italy, now culminates in an exhibit of student photographs in the McClelland Art Gallery in Union College’s Ortner Center.
The McClelland Art Gallery is used to show the work of artists from the community as well as the art of Union College students and professors. This exhibit will feature not only photographs taken by students on the Tuscany tour, but also other media, including sketches, a painting and a slideshow.
The exhibit will run Aug. 16 through Sept. 4, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. A reception will be held Monday, Aug. 22, 6-8 p.m. Admission is free. For Ortner Center or McClelland Art Gallery information call 402-486-2545.
