“My ears had heard you, but now my eyes have seen you.”        Job 42:5

This is another potentially challenging book in the Bible but my devotional journey right now is causing me to look for a spiritual blessing in EACH book of the Bible, so here goes, Job!

“For such a time as this.”              Esther 4:14

“Don’t be afraid, those that are with us are more than those who are with them.”      2 Kings 6:16

I’m home!! J 13 days, 29,000 air miles; 18 airports (some more than once), roughly 75 hours in the air, and three great SMs (who are ALL doing a great job and giving Union College an amazing reputation for quality of volunteers!) and I slept in my own bed last night (for as long as jet lag would allow!) J It IS good to be home!

“A still small voice.”         1 Kings 19:12

“He rescued me because He delights in me.”      2 Samuel 22:20

Welcome back from break. Hope it was good to you. Just think, only 35 more school days, a few exams and this school year is history!! I’m in Cape Town and before I head out to see the cape I continue on my second round of a book-a-day from the Bible just challenging myself to look for some kind of a blessing with which I can bless myself and can share with you.

“Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling…” Jude 24

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”     3 John 4

A reality in my life, as I apply it to my immediate family, AND to my extended “family” at Union College- I have no greater joy than to hear that YOU are walking in the truth of Jesus, and to watch your lives become like His, displayed in so many way by loving and blessing others.

I have no greater joy! Thank you for being that source of joy.

Have a great day bringing joy to your chaplain! J
