Union to webcast select volleyball tournament games

Union College will webcast select games from the annual Mid-America volleyball tournament to be held Oct. 21-23. Games will be played in the Union College gym and in the College View Academy gym (5240 Calvert St.) All matches in the Union College gym will be webcast live at uclive.ucollege.edu

With the first serve set for 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, the tournament will feature 10 teams, including two from outside of the territory of the Mid-America Union Conference. The teams have been divided into two pools based on win-loss record, and each school will play the others in their pool on Thursday and Friday to determine matchups for the Saturday night contests. The two teams with the best record in each pool will play in the final game on Saturday night, Oct. 23, at 9:45.
