College View Academy wins Mid-America volleyball tournament

College View Academy won the Mid-America Union volleyball tournament by defeating the Collegedale Adventist Youth Assocation three sets to none on Oct. 22 in the Union College gymnasium.

The tournaments began on Thursday, Oct. 20, the tournament and featured 10 teams, including three from outside of the territory of the Mid-America Union Conference. Divided into two pools based on win-loss record, and each school played the others in their pool on Thursday and Friday to determine matchups for the Saturday night contests. The College View and Collegedale each had the best record in their pool and met for the championship game on Saturday night.
