Mile High men and College View women win the Mid-America Basketball Tournament

The Mile High Academy Mustangs from Denver, Colo., won the 2011 Mid-America men's basketball tournament by edging out the Sunnydale Adventist Academy Spartans from Centralia, Mo., in the championship game by a score of 57-47.
In the women's bracket, the College View Academy Eagles from Lincoln, Neb., defeated the Maplewood Academy Huskies from Hutchinson, Minn., 32-12 to take the title.
The annual basketball tournament, hosted by Union College, featured men's and women's teams from eight Seventh-day Adventist high schools across the Midwest. Each team participated in a round-robin tournament on Wednesday through Friday, followed by a single-elimination championship tournament on Saturday night and Sunday.
