The annual Union College Library fair will be held September 16, 2010 from 3-6 p.m.  This year the fair features a sports theme with a variety of activities for everyone.  Participants will be able to explore sports-related books from the library collection, try their hands at bowling or golfing, and join a Wii competition. 

Whether timing the perfect candid, constructing a scene or digitally manipulating elements after the fact, there are a myriad ways photographers interact with their tools and their world to create art. The Young Alumni Art Exhibit on display in the McClelland Art Gallery showcases a wide range of styles, encouraging visitors to consider what makes a photo a work of art.

Union College invites students from around Nebraska to visit during the Nebraska Independent College Foundation's annual College Week. Nebraska high school students are encouraged to consider the nine member colleges and universities located throughout the state. Visitors will have an opportunity to talk with admissions and financial aid counselors, take a campus tour and (as available) talk with an advisor in their academic field.

 Your ACT scores are needed to determine:
1. Your acceptance to Union College;
2. The English and math classes for which you may register; and
3. Your merit scholarship award amount.

Act quickly if you still need to take (or retake) the ACT for acceptance to Union, for placement in higher level math and/or English class(es), or for better scholarship award amounts.

The Division of Fine Arts welcomes Cynthia Stokes as a full-time faculty member in the Music Department. Mrs. Stokes has directed the Union College Concert Winds since January 2008 and has taught instrumental lessons and Woodwind techniques over the past two years. She brings over 30 years of music teaching experience at levels ranging from first grade through college level.

Plan now for Project Impact, September 9--a day of community service you will never forget. Each year, Union students, staff and faculty take a day off classes to impact the Lincoln community with a variety of service projects.
