I graduated in 1987 with a BS from Southwestern Adventist College. I received my MBA from Texas A&M (although I’m a Dallas Cowboys and Cornhuskers fan) in 1988, and was persuaded to manage the Union College Bookstore immediately – I even skipped my own graduation! In 1990, I joined Union’s Business Division where I teach primarily management along with a few classes in finance and marketing. Outside of class, you will find me playing Ultimate Frisbee or racquetball, helping run the sound system for church, enjoying “hiking” around Holmes Lake with my wife Lisa, or getting my fix as a news junkie. I lived the first 11 years of my life in Malawi, Africa, and I continue to enjoy international news and travel. If you take a class from me, expect to get involved in some sort of “real world” project. |

I graduated from Union with a BS in Business Administration in 1984. For nine years after that I worked for Computer Services at Union. While working at Union, I earned by MBA from UNL in 1989. I spent over four years as a Network Administrator for Woodward-Clyde in Omaha. Next I headed to Andrews University where I spent over five years as Director of Administrative Systems. While at Andrews University, I earned a MS in Software Engineering in 2002. I then worked at the University of Notre Dame for the next four years until returning to Union where I teach computing courses. |

Greetings! I have been an accounting and finance professor at Union College since 2002. Before coming to teach at Union, I worked eight years in public accounting, over six of them with Deloitte (one of the Big 4 international CPA firms), primarily auditing companies in the manufacturing, banking, and governmental industries. I received my MBA from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1995. I am an expert on planning trips to Disneyworld (and I enjoy planning trips elsewhere around the globe as well). In my leisure time, you will often find me with my nose stuck in some sort of puzzle book (i.e. Sudoku), Jazzercising, or harassing my husband, Barry. I understand dramatic changes in career plans, as my one and only sibling, younger brother Neil, has a PhD in Electrical Engineering, but started his career as a business consultant, and now teaches 4th grade! |

I graduated from the University of Montana with a BS in 1992 and a Masters of Accountancy in 1995. I worked in Texas for a public accounting firm for three years. Afterwards, I assumed the position of assistant Controller for a privately held company. I have been teaching accounting at Union since 2002. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving—it’s like Christmas without the obligations! And I get to watch my favorite sport all day long. Nothing beats feasting and football! Go Texans! |

I’m currently teaching Computer Science at Union College. This is my first year teaching at the college level, and so far I’m surviving. I have earned a Computer Science and Mathematical Studies Degree from Andrews University, and I’m currently pursuing my last year of my graduate studies, also at Andrews University. Besides lecturing in the Business Division, I have been asked to teach the Spanish class. In my spare time I enjoy riding my bike and playing soc |

Currently, I teach marketing, management and communication classes at Union. I graduated from Union College in 2001 with a BA in communications and a BS in Institutional Development. In 2004 I earned an MA in Management from the University of Redlands while working for the Department of Psychiatry at Loma Linda University. My husband, son Carter and I live in Walton, NE with Wilson, Sooke, Zoe and Oliver—dog, cats and rabbit, respectively. While at Union I played varsity basketball all four years and I still love to play intramural sports. Come by my house any Sabbath afternoon for lunch and I’ll feed you a home-cooked meal. |
