A minimum 1.5 Mbps Internet connection is recommended when viewing UCLive broadcasts. If your connection is less than this, you will likely experience choppy video. Test your connection by clicking the speed test picture below.
If you are having problems watching the streaming video from the Union College website, please check the schedule to make sure a broadcast is being made and that your computer meets the following requirements:
Windows Computers
- Windows Vista or XP
- Windows Media Player 11
Macintosh Computers
- Leopard 10.5.6
- Windows Media Components for Quicktime from Microsoft (download here)
- Latest version of Quicktime
- If it does not work in Quicktime, you may also install MPEG Streamclip.
