Passion Play

What would it have been like to witness and experience Nicodemus’ or Pilate’s last 10 minutes with Christ? What would our final moments with Him have been like if we could have personally interacted with Him before His death?

On April 23, “The Last 10,” a passion play based on the gospel of John, depicted seven scenes of Christ’s final days, from His triumphant entry into Jerusalem to His resurrection.

Written and produced by students, “The Last 10” involved more than 70 students, employees and community members. “Christ’s entire life focus was on other people, even in his final moments,” said AJ Oetman, a senior English education major and the pageant producer. “This play asks what our focus will be in this lifetime.”
