We are looking for a student Web content manager to begin in August. Our small team work with departments across campus, providing diligence and expertise to keep Union College's website fresh, accurate and interesting. Knowledge of HTML and image editing are very helpful, but writing and editing skills are even more important. A successful candidate must demonstrate clear, concise and interesting writing and the ability to proofread. This job requires good interpersonal communication skills and a strong sense of confidentiality. The Office Assistant will be able to work in a multi-task environment and be able to prioritize assigned tasks. Computer skills are required. The Office Assistant performs such tasks as filing, correspondence, processing accommodation requests, monitoring the Resource Room, occasional janitorial duties, and acting as a receptionist for the TLC. Additional duties will be assigned throughout the semester. |

The instructional technologist's student assistant helps her with Moodle, classroom clickers, document cameras, and other instructional technologies. The worker researches new technologies and may create instruction sheets for new software or tools. The position also includes custodial duties. The worker in this position should know how to use Microsoft Office and be able to work without close supervision. Please see attached job description for further details. The interlibrary loan (ILL) worker position requires data entry abilities, an attention to detail, an ability to work independently without close supervision, and organizational skills. The library student worker should also be dependable, punctual, and efficient. Some experience with Microsoft Access is preferred. The student in this position will also have assigned cleaning duties. This position will be available August 26, 2013. |

Do you get good grades? Do you want to help others? The TLC is now hiring tutors from all departments to work one-on-one with peers that need a little extra help. This job requires a firm understanding of class content, interpersonal communication skills, dependability, and patience. A paid tutor training workshop will be provided by the TLC. After being hired, the tutor will work with TLC staff to schedule one-on-one meeting times with any student requesting help in their content area. |

Officials are needed for the intramural program. Games will begin on Monday, September 10, and will be played at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday nights. Refs will need to arrive 15 minutes before games - dressed and ready. In addition, all officials will need to attend the Intramural Officiating Clinic the first part of September.
