George Stone Elementary School and Project Impact

Every year, George Stone Elementary School students, staff and parents participate in Project Impact hosted by Union College. Project Impact is the largest and longest running community service day sponsored by any college in the United States. Over 900 college students, staff and faculty give one day a year to this event that serves over 50 agencies in the Lincoln area.

Justin Okimi, past student chaplain and Project Impact coordinator, said, "The work of the George Stone students, staff and parents was greatly appreciated. It's great to see the next generation of college students to lead Project Impact begin to volunteer so young."
