Merit scholarships (Now 100% renewable!)
Union’s new merit scholarships for freshmen are now 100% renewable for three additional years.
These scholarships are awarded based on high school grade point average and ACT test scores, but there is something for everybody.

*Board of Trustees and Presidental Scholarships are renewable at 100% if the student maintains a college GPA of 3.5 or greater.
Academic Scholarships are renewed at 100% for a total of four years (eight semesters). The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0+ and be enrolled at Union College for at least 12 credit hours.
Freshman nursing award (NEW!)
High school students with a 3.0+ GPA and ACT 20 (or SAT 1410) may qualify for a $2,500 nursing award. To be eligible, the student must enroll in pre-nursing/nursing track and maintain a college 3.0+ GPA. This scholarship is renewed at 100% for four years (eight semesters).
Merit scholarships for transfer students
A transfer student is a new student with at least 24 hours of class credit. Scholarships are awarded based on college GPA and are 100% renewable for up to five additional semesters. To keep the scholarship, the student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0+ and is enrolled at least 12 credit hours at Union College.

Summer ministries matching scholarships
Union College offers matching scholarships to students who work at any Seventh-day Adventist summer camp or literature evangelism/megabooks program in North America. Scholarship recipients must submit a summer earnings statement to the Student Financial Services office to validate eligibility.
Summer camp: Union will match 100% of summer camp earnings applied to the student's account up $1,500.
Literature evangelism: Union will match 100% of earnings applied to a student's account up to $2,000.
Student missions and task force scholarships
To show our support for students who choose to take a year out of their education to volunteer around the world or within North America, Union offers a $2,000 scholarship upon your return to Union College.
To qualify, you must volunteer through one of the programs affiliated with the Union College.
Union College offers half-tuition rates to graduates from accredited colleges or universities who wish to obtain a second degree or take additional undergraduate classes. (See bulletin for details.)
Part of the Union College advantage is our guaranteed education policy. We promise every student at Union will receive mentorship to help find their God given calling. By the time our students graduate, they know what career they want pursue and are eqiupped to work there. We guarantee it. Any student who graduates from Union with a bachelor's degree can return to Union College within two to six years of graduation and get a second bachelor's degree 100% tuition free.
