7/15/2016 A Model for Sustainable Short-term Global Health Field Experiences presented for TEAMS Forum by Amy Golter and I at Southern Adventist University, Collegedale, TN.
I was raised in the Yukon Territory in Canada. My husband and I have three children, Nathan, Jannah and Malayshia. I enjoy my family, running, camping, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and global health mission trips.
I met my husband, Kalvin, at Southwestern Adventist College. He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast-Communications. He served as a student missionary for Adventist World Radio in Costa Rica in 1995-1996. This was our first year as newly weds. It was a great experience! He is Studio Director at Christian Record Services for the Blind.
