It's May 6; Good Morning Union

“To Him who is able to keep you from falling…”  Jude 24

Today, and tomorrow, and this school year is history!! I have mixed emotions! Happy for you; sad for me; it gets really boring around here when you are gone. But I’m glad to see you moving on and growing both professionally and spiritually.

I’ve probably referenced this verse before, but I’m coming to the end of my journey through the Bible, one-book-a day, and today is Jude. In my Bible these verses are subtitled “Doxology.” How fitting to “sing the doxology” at the end of the school year. And what is it that I am praising God about today?

“He is able to:

1.            keep me from falling

2.            and to present me before His glorious presence

                a.            without fault

                b.            with great joy”

No wonder I sing the doxology about “the only God.” To Him “be glory, majesty, power, and authority, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.”

I pray that He will do all that and more for you too as you launch out for a summer break or for a forty year career.

Have a great second day of test, and an even greater day in assurance of what God wants to do for you,

Pastor Rich

Quote for the day: “God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well.” Voltaire
