Good Morning Union

It's April 10; Good Morning Union

“With God a day is like 1000 years and a thousand years is like a day.”     2 Peter 3:8

I don’t actually remember why I started thinking about this text last night but I did. When I found it I discovered that it was right beside a text I wrote about a few weeks ago. “God is not slow concerning His promises….” So here’s my analytical rational thought process through this verse and it’s hopefully “spiritual” application for today.

It's April 9; Good Morning Union

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.”      Psalm 34:7

It's April 8; Good Morning Union

“Blessed is the person who walks not… stands not… sits not…”   Psalm 1

Another psalm/song that I learned a long time ago. I like the progression of understanding how I get trapped in sin SO THAT I can keep away from that deceptive and destructive force. Here’s what NOT to do:

Don’t- “walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers…”

It's April 7; Good Morning Unon

“I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from?”                Psalm 121

It's April 6; Good Morning Union

“let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…”         Colossians 3:16

Last Friday I saw God singing about me; today I find that I should join Him in singing back! There is a nice balance in this verse and one of my great joys is to continue finding balance in my life as I seek to keep on growing in my understanding, connection, and relationship with Jesus. Three parts of this verse stood out to me this morning:

It's April 3; Good Morning Union

“The Lord your God is with you…”            Zephaniah 3:17

It's April 2; Good Morning Union

“The Lord bless you and keep you…”      Numbers 6: 24-26

It's April 1; Good Morning Union

“If anyone would come after Me, he must…”     Mark 8: 34-37

It's March 31; Good Morning Union

“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”   Joshua 24:15

It's March 30; Good Morning Union

“The Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh built an imposing altar there by the Jordan.”         Joshua 22:10
