What to Expect form Your Education at Union

Academic quality. With a student-to-teacher ratio of 13-to-1, you will experience direct interaction with professors who will challenge and mentor you.

Service learning. Union in in the top 3 percent of colleges and universities in the country for volunteerism and service learning as designated by the 2007 President's High Education Community Service Honor Roll.

Serve locally through Project Impact, the longest running, highest participation collegiate community service day in the country. You could even serve globally through the Frontier Nursing class, international rescue and relief program or as a student missionary.

Spiritual connection. Union's Campus Ministries programs, led by students like you, give many opportunities for spiritual involvement and discipleship training. Strong ties with seven welcoming churches means over 90 percent of students voluntarily join in worship weekly.

Career preparation. You can find the right fit at Union by choosing from more than 50 majors, emphases and minors in 27 disciplines, including international rescue and relief, fitness and wellness and a personalized degree. Student leadership is a defining value of the Union College experience; develop leadership abilities valuable in any career.

Safe, urban campus. Union's 50-acre tree-covered campus is close to downtown Lincoln with access to many off-campus jobs, internships and cultural experiences. Union recently installed a campus emergency alert system and has a crisis management plan in place.
