After more than a year of planning and preparation, Union College will unveil its booth at the 59th General Conference Session in Atlanta, Ga. on Thursday, June 24. The 22 faculty, staff and students who will man the booth over the 10-day conference invite all alumni, friends and future friends attending the session or in the Atlanta area to stop by and discover the Union spirit for themselves.

The booth is divided into three main sections:

  • At the front is an area designed to introduce prospective students and families to Union College through videos, recruiters and online application stations.
  • The middle of the booth is oriented toward alumni, and Unionites may register and find contact information for friends attending the event.
  • The final section includes a 25-foot climbing wall which provides entertainment and an opportunity to talk about one of Union's most unique majors, international rescue and relief.

"Our goal was to show the world church the Union spirit and all that encompasses—academics, spirituality, service, personal attention, hard work and a lot of fun," said LuAnn Davis, vice president for advancement. "One of the things I like most about Union is that we are earnest about our vocations without taking ourselves too seriously. I think the booth finds a balance between having fun and demonstrating our mission as a college."

Throughout the event, we will update this page with photos and videos from the General Conference Session.

We've been very busy in Atlanta, but slowly we're posting all of our GC Session videos for those of you who can't make it here. Please be patient, and keep checking back.
