Seeking Nominations for Library Teacher of the Year 2014

Union College Library is seeking nominations for the 2014 Teacher of the Year Award. This award recognizes a Union College teacher's support of the library during the school year and grants him or her the opportunity to expand an area of the library's collection which is of particular professional interest. The 2014 winning nominee will be someone who actively uses library resources for personal research, promotes library use among students, supports library-sponsored programs, regularly recommends new materials for acquisition, and assists with maintenance of the collection through weeding. Visit the Teacher of the Year Award webpage to learn more about the award and past recipients. To nominate a teacher, send his or her name along with a short paragraph explaining how they meet the award criteria to library director, Sabrina Riley. Nominations close April 7, 2014.
