The school year is almost upon Union College, and with it, 26 Sabbaths to enjoy. Vespers coordinator Kelli Vigil and Union for Christ director Tyler Morrison have prepared a schedule of powerful musical talent and deep spiritual speakers to help Union College campus discover or build a stronger relationship with Jesus.
During the week celebrated by the Christian world commemorating the final events in the life of Christ, including his death and resurrection, Union College students will be able to follow the story at a series of events throughout the week highlighted by a Resurrection Pageant, which will unfold on March 30 on the Union College campus, with tours starting every 20 minutes between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

David Kinnaman, author of You Lost Me: Why Young Christians are Leaving the Church…and Rethinking Faith and president of the Barna Group, will explore the reasons why at a Union College chapel service on Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m.
For Jimmy Needham, making music isn’t about entertainment. From his first album, Speak, to his most recent release, Clear the Stage, Needham’s music reflects his passion to share Christ’s love with people.
For singer and songwriter Shaun Groves, his desire to see children in poverty receive an eduction and opportunity equals his love for music. On Friday, August 31, the Texas native will use his musical talents at Union College to bring awareness to the plight of many hungry children around the world.
Noted Christian author and speaker Dr. Tony Campolo will speak at Union College on Friday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m.
Shawn McDonald has built a career out of writing songs focused on his personal journey with God. On February 17, he will bring his contemporary Christian style to Union College with a concert at College View Church at 7:30 p.m.
McDonald grew up in Eugene, Ore., where much of his youth was marred with rebellion and drug addiction. At age 20, when his life began to fall apart, he cried out to God and slowly began to turn his life around.
