Human Development Mission and Goals
The mission of the Division of Human Development is to prepare exemplary teachers, psychology majors and social workers. The programs are driven by a commitment to holistic development, scholarship, multicultural clinical experiences and dedication to a life of service that assists others in achieving their God-given potential.
Specific division objectives include enabling the student to
- exhibit competency in the content area of each discipline;
- pursue advanced study;
- perform professional roles with a high degree of competency.
The Division of Human Development offers courses and experiences to prepare students for entry-level career positions, and/or for graduate study. It also offers support courses for other programs of the college.
