Teacher of Watercolor Workshops:
I am an avid gardener, painter in oil and watercolor and out of doors lover. I exhibit and sell my art from coast to coast as well as outside of the country. I am active in my church and community by teaching Sabbath School classes and judging art exhibits as well as teaching watercolor workshops across the country.
My wife, Huda, and I have been married for 42 years and have two children. Huda is Director of Admissions at Union College and is an avid reader, cook and superlative mom. She enjoys people, helping them in many ways and enjoys her work as well as family, students and friends.
Our son, Jim, graduated from Union College with his B.A. in business. His passion, however, is music. He plays several instruments and composes music. His major instruments include violin, piano, keyboard and guitar. He lives in southern California where he is a production assistant for film crews that produce commercials for national TV and also works for a theatre of light opera. He plays in a band as well.
Our daughter, Laurel, teaches EAP at Union College. She graduated from Union College with a B.A. in English, Religion and Education. She spent a year teaching English at Nile Union Academy in Egypt. She is passionate about writing, music, missions and helping others, especially international students. She composes music also and her major instruments are violin, piano and guitar.
