I am a full-time clinical instructor for the Division of Nursing. I guide students in applying what they have learned in the classroom to the hospital setting including clinical reasoning, time management, and skills development. I am passionate about preparing nurses who will impact healthcare by providing excellent patient care and be change-agents in the future of healthcare.
I graduated from Union College with my BSN in 2007, and I am currently in a bridged BSN-DNP program at Capella University.
I began my nursing career on the Medical/Oncology/Stroke Unit at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center. I specialized in acute stroke care with a certification in the NIHSS stroke scale. While at St. Elizabeth, I served on the education council and worked as a preceptor for nursing students and newly hired nurses.
